Louis Gottlieb Bumen Genealogy

Louis Gottlieb Bumen was born Aug. 23, 1904 in Madison IN, the son of  Joseph A. and Mary Amelia "Mollie" (Heilman) Bumen. Louis married Alma Lee Conn* on January 4, 1930 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. Louis and Alma had 2 children, Nancy Lee (Bumen) Swift and Robert Louis Bumen. He died Mar. 22, 1992 in Lakewood, NJ and was buried in St. Patricks Catholic Cemetery in Madison IN.

Clarification: Alma Lee Swisher Conn was the daughter of Arthur Hamilton Swisher and Allie Totten (Garriott) Swisher.  Allie, Alma's mother died on April 9, 1909 when Alma was age 1. Alma's father, Arthur Swisher died in 1945.  Alma was adopted and raised by Robert Lee Conn (a relative).  She was born in Trimble Co. KY, but moved to Madison c1916.
