Joseph "Graham" and Hazel Zappphoto needed
Memories of John Zapp, son of James, grandson of
Graham,
"When I was a child my grandparents Graham and
Hazel lived less than a city block from us on Walnut street so I did
see them quite a bit. Although I was only ten when Grandpa died I
still remember how he loved to play the piano. In fact when I grew
older, whenever I told someone my name, they knew my Grandpa because
he was a really good piano tuner. I don't remember meeting any of
his siblings though my Dad often talked about his Aunts."
Memories of Ron Zapp, son of Marjorie Zapp Harmon, grandson of
Graham, "Graham was a farmer, musician, mainly a pPpiano tuner. My mom said he would go tune a piano and they would give him chickens, vegetables, hunting dogs, etc... I was very young when he died, but I remember him playing the piano. He actually made a record with a band, my mother has the record. Graham moved around a lot during the depression. They lived in a bunch of different houses and farms around Madison." Thelma and Darrell Zapp, children of Graham Zapp
